You are very welcome to visit PAUS. whether you're taking part in bathing/workshop activities or not.

+ evening sessions every first Friday of the month until 9pm

Parking
Spaces are reserved for visitors to PAUS. Vehicles and contents are left at owner's risk.

Please do not attempt to drive beyond the designated gravel car park.

What to bring 

If you are using the bathing facilities, please bring fresh clean swimwear, flip flops and a towel. Sarong towels and bathrobes are available to hire. For information on what to bring to a workshop, please see the relevant booking pages for details. 

 

PAUS is an outdoor space. Please make sure to wear appropriate footwear as the paths may occasionally be soggy.

Refund policy

Bathing packages/ Meadows tickets/ Events or activities booked via the PAUS website:
Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable. This means that if you are unable to attend any of the booked activities/we need to postpone them we will reschedule your session (subject to availability). Alternatively, we can issue a Gift Voucher for the value of your booking. 

All requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before your visit. We regret that we will be unable to reschedule your session if you cancel less than 48 hours before your visit.

Refund policy for January 2022: To put your mind at ease, we are shortening the notice period for cancellations to 6 hours before your booking for the month of January. This will apply to all visits from 1st January until 30th January 2022. If you need to cancel, please email us with your booking reference. Please note that we may not be able to get back to you straight away, however, providing that we receive your email at least 6 hours in advance, your session will be rescheduled/gift voucher issued. 



However, we’d like to ask you not to leave cancellations to the last minute or ,even better, if you could try to avoid cancellations completely by passing your tickets to your friends or family. It is becoming increasingly costly to heat up and maintain the temperature of the hot tub for you. Combined with weak customer confidence leading to lower than expected turnover means that every cancellation hits us hard in these challenging times.

Please do come, we’re working very hard to make everything ready for you so your support is vital.

Workshops/ Retreats/ Events or activities provided by external partners:
The refund policy for specific workshops, retreats or events is at the discretion of each provider. Please check the relevant booking pages for specific information or contact the facilitator.

Planned closures and private events

PAUS, or some areas within PAUS, may be closed from time-to-time, including for necessary maintenance, refurbishment or due to private workshops and events.  We will limit the number of days that we are closed throughout the year and all closures will be communicated via our website or in email updates. If we are closed on a day you wish to visit, then we regret that you will be unable to make a booking in this scenario. 

If an unexpected, long term closure occurs (over one month inclusive of all dates and areas) then we will be in touch with all ticket holders if this has any bearing on your visit.

Where private events run alongside public bathing sessions; please honour and respect the privacy of all private events occurring within PAUS and refrain from communicating any information about the event to third parties, in any medium.

Where all or part of PAUS is closed for essential maintenance, or where we need to withdraw facilities or services, because we consider that they may pose a risk, or that they are detrimental to the business, we will seek to ensure that any such area, facility or service is reinstated as soon as practical.

Payments

All payments are processed via PayPal or Stripe and security protected. We do not store your bank and card details. Our website is also protected by SSL encryption to ensure your security.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are children allowed at PAUS?

The Bathing Space is for over 18s only, however, children over 12 will be allowed if accompanied by a group of adults. Please let us know in advance if you are planning to bring anyone under 18. 

Children are allowed in all other areas of PAUS including The Meadows.

 

Can I bring my own food and drinks to PAUS?

Only food and drinks purchased on site are allowed. The Hilltop Bistro serves a choice of delicious, freshly made food, nibbles, homemade cakes and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks.

Are all the facilities outdoors?

The hot tubs and saunas are exposed to the elements but the showers/changing rooms are all indoor. There is also indoor cafe area and ample outdoor space with deckchairs to lounge on.

What happens if it rains? Are there any shelters?

We run all year round in any weather (we cannot have people in hot tubs if there is lightning/thunder). The hot tubs are exposed and there are no shelters. The experience is actually rather nice in the rain, much better than in baking hot sun. In fact, the worse the weather, the better the experience.

There are sheltered areas - changing rooms and the Bistro. 

Can I bring a dog to PAUS?

Well behaved dogs are allowed and welcomed at PAUS. There are great walks around PAUS and we welcome dog walkers in need of a break and refreshments at the Hilltop Bistro.
